T&Cs
These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments, treatments, services and purchases made with Massage-Addict UK.
By booking an appointment or purchasing a service from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Appointments
Appointments can be booked through our online booking system, by telephone, email or by any other booking method we make available.
An appointment is confirmed once the booking has been accepted and, where applicable, any required payment or deposit has been received.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your treatment time may need to be shortened so that we can finish at the scheduled time. The full appointment fee may still apply.
Cancellation
We understand that sometimes appointments need to be changed or cancelled. We ask that you provide as much notice as possible.
Our cancellation charges are:
- 48 hours or more before your appointment: No cancellation fee.
- Less than 48 hours' notice: 50% of the appointment fee will be charged.
- Less than 24 hours' notice: 100% of the appointment fee will be charged.
- No-shows: 100% of the appointment fee will be charged.
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.
We understand that genuine emergencies can happen and will consider these on an individual basis.
Please remember:
Please arrive at the time of your scheduled appointment, as there we have a small turn around to clean between appointments.
If you arrive late, we will do our best to provide your full treatment where possible. However, the treatment may need to be shortened to avoid delaying the next client.
The full appointment fee will still be payable.
Treatment & your Health
Before receiving treatment, you may be asked to provide information about your health, medical history, current symptoms, medication and other relevant circumstances.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information that may be relevant to your treatment.
You should inform your therapist of any changes to your health, medication or circumstances before receiving treatment.
We reserve the right to postpone, modify or decline treatment where we reasonably believe that treatment may not be appropriate or safe.
Treatment Advice
Massage and other treatments provided by Massage-ADdict UK are intended to support wellbeing and are not intended to replace medical diagnosis, treatment or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Where appropriate, we may recommend that you seek advice from your GP, consultant or another suitably qualified healthcare professional.
You should seek appropriate medical advice where you have concerns about your health or symptoms.
Results
Individual responses to massage and other treatments can vary.
We do not guarantee any particular result from a treatment.
Any information provided about the potential benefits of a treatment is general information and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a particular outcome.
Personal Belongings
Please take care of your personal belongings while attending your appointment.
Massage-Addict UK cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings that are lost, damaged or stolen while on the premises, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of treatment unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed in advance.
We accept the payment methods made available by Massage-Addict UK.
Where a cancellation or no-show fee applies, the relevant fee may be charged using the payment method or card details provided at the time of booking, where applicable and where you have agreed to this arrangement.
Gift Vouchers
Where gift vouchers are offered:
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
- Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Gift vouchers must be presented or quoted when redeemed.
- Lost or stolen gift vouchers cannot be replaced unless we are able to verify the original purchase.
Any additional gift voucher terms will be provided at the time of purchase.
Memberships, Packages & Courses
Where we offer memberships, treatment packages or courses, the specific terms applicable to those services will be provided at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, memberships, packages and courses are personal to the purchaser and cannot be transferred to another person.
Any expiry dates, payment arrangements or cancellation terms applying to a particular membership or package will be explained before purchase.
Children & Young People
Clients under the age of 18 may only receive treatment where we have appropriate consent and where the treatment is considered suitable.
Additional requirements may apply depending on the client's age and the nature of the treatment.
Please contact us before booking an appointment for anyone under 18.
Privacy
We respect the privacy and confidentiality of our clients.
Personal information and treatment information will be collected, stored and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

Online Booking
Where appointments are booked through our online booking system, the booking information provided must be accurate.
We reserve the right to contact you if we need additional information regarding your appointment.
Our online booking system may be provided by a third-party service provider. Information submitted through the booking system will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Website
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on our website is accurate and up to date.
However, information may occasionally change and we reserve the right to update our website, services, prices and availability without prior notice.
Prices
Our current prices are displayed on our website, booking system or other relevant sales materials.
We reserve the right to change our prices. Any price change will not affect a booking that has already been confirmed, unless otherwise agreed.

Refusal or Termination of treatment:
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate treatment where reasonably necessary, including where:
- Treatment would not be appropriate or safe.
Relevant health information has not been disclosed.
- A client behaves in a threatening, abusive or inappropriate manner.
- A client behaves in a way that makes it unsafe for the therapist or other clients.
- The client attends under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
- There is another legitimate reason why treatment cannot reasonably be provided.
Where appropriate, we will explain the reason for refusing or ending treatment.
Client Conduct
We expect all clients to treat our therapists, staff and other clients with courtesy and respect.
We do not tolerate threatening, abusive, discriminatory, sexualised or inappropriate behaviour.
Any such behaviour may result in the appointment being terminated and future appointments being refused.
Liability
We take reasonable care when providing our services.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law.
Changes to these Terms & Conditions:
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.
The latest version will be made available on our website.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
